"Good location in a safe neighbourhood. Many restaurants in walking distance. Face recognition entry works like a charm. Staff is custeous and very responsive through WhatsApp.
The room does not have air conditioning, not that its a big problem for us as we stayed during winter. The temperature for the shower was tricky to regulate, went from cold to hot intermittently. Staff managed to play with the water heater to get the fluctuation down to an acceptable level. Hope the problem was only for the room we stayed.
The floor could do with a proper cleaning. Found long hair in different parts of the floor."

"A very nice short-term apartment stay in a wonderful neighborhood of Bogota, with lots of amazing restaurants and cafes within walking distance. And if you like nightlife, there is much nearby in Chapinero. The kitchen comes with all the dishes and appliances you need if you wish to cook your own meals. The room was beautiful and comfortable, with great city views. The bathroom however was very small and cramped, there was a leak in the sink, and the shower overflows onto the bathroom floor if you take long showers. The accomodation and service are a bit expensive for what you get, compared to some others in the area."
"The room was beautiful. It was large and spacious. The bed was comfortable and was a bit loud due to how close it was to a main road. Staff greeted but did not engage in lengthy conversations nor recommended places to go to? My shower would drain very slowly and when the front desk was informed they never followed up with it. Also the cleaning staff did not enter my room all week which was unfortunate but luckily the broom and dustpan were located in the room closet so it was easy enough to sweep lightly here and there. I would consider staying here again if the shower issue could’ve been addressed sooner."
"The Faranda Hotel is a good option to stay in the North part of Bogotá. However, the access to the hotel is a bit tricky because of the road work at the moment of writing this review (07/2023). The room was basic/average. The hotel advertised to have a sauna but it did not. The gym was underwhelming. The restaurant looks really nice but the way the breakfast buffet is set is not the best. It look cramped in a small part of the restaurant. The choices for breakfast are very few."
"Well, all in general is perfect except the check out that leaves you waiting all the row of those who make check in instead of having a qualified part for those who are already going"

Great
AAnonymous UserThe hotel boasts a good location, conveniently close to the airport. Situated directly across from a police station and seemingly surrounded by upscale residential areas, the security felt excellent. A large shopping mall is also just a 10-minute walk away. Breakfast was quite good, with options that suited local palates well. The hotel restaurant also offered very generous portion sizes for meals. However, the cleanliness was a slight concern. During my multi-night stay, I woke up on two separate nights to use the bathroom and unfortunately spotted cockroaches.
XXiejunwen sevenLocated in the rich area, in the office building, the safety and health of access is tall. There are Japanese dishes downstairs, Mexican dishes, local South American dishes, very convenient, and the service is polite and thoughtful. recommend.
AAnonymous UserThis hotel is in a good and safe location, close to great restaurants and bars, as well as the National Museum. The historical downtown isn’t far either, making it a convenient base for exploring the city.
The rooms are spacious, very clean, and well-maintained. The staff are friendly, speak English, and are always ready to help. The only downside was the bathroom door, which didn’t fully close, leading to water splashing outside. Other than that, everything was excellent.
Another bonus is the Georgian restaurant right next to the hotel. The food there is incredibly authentic and delicious - highly recommend it if you’re looking for something different!
GGuest UserThe best part of this hotel is the breakfast. Lots of food options and great taste as well. They also serve some rrally good Colombian food and soup. The staff are also very friendly and helpful.
The room is ok but not impressive. The problem is that they do not provide consistent amenities. We have two rooms booked, with one room has sufficient shampoo and body wash supply as well as coffee machine, the other does not have either. When I called the front desk, they could not help as they did not know where to find the supplies.
Other than the above, the location is very good, conveneint and safe.
MMileKruminaI stayed at this hotel with my mom. It’s really close to the airport and a few blocks from “El campin stadium” transmilenio station. Also a shopping mall is a few meters away. I stayed on a Wednesday so there wasn’t much music but I can see how it can be quite loud during the weekends as there are many clubs near by. The breakfast was good and the room was okay. I must say that this hotel feels more like a motel or bed and breakfast as it is extremely basic. No decorations or any living areas that are inviting so it’s good just for a night or two but not for a holiday. There isn’t any elevator and no men that can carry your luggage so my mom carried my suitcase up to the third floor and the receptionist and I carried the big luggage up to the room. The water pressure is great and the hotel has hot water. Also there is satellite tv with options in English and Spanish. I have no idea if the hotel staff speaks English or not as I speak spanish. Overall it was good as the area is safe and close to most places I wanted to go like Monserrate.
GGuest UserI really wanted to like this place. I specifically chose it because of its location in La candelaria close to everything and because of it's historical significance as a colonial house with unique decorations and furniture. And that aspect was fine. What was not fine were the rooms. I was first taken to room 19, the last room on the second floor which has a large balcony opening that looks over the courtyard. The problem is that the door does not seal tightly and the weather was quite cold, rainy and damp. The room was freezing and so I asked for a room heater which was inefficient because it did not radiate any heat it just simply warmed up. In addition to that, apparently there was a pigeon nest on the other side of the wall and I can hear them cooing, moving, scratching and chirping. When I brought this to the attention of the receptionist, she told me about Las Palomas and assured me that they would not make noise at night. I was extremely uncomfortable and freezing cold the entire night and the next day I spoke to the clerk and asked that my room be moved. He agreed and told me to come back at 3:00 p.m. that afternoon. I came back at 5:00 and was told by another woman that it would not be possible for my room to be moved and after I explained the situation she brought me to room 18 right next door. It seemed fine and I agreed to stay there. It rained overnight and when I woke up in the morning the nightstand next to the bed was soaking wet. The roof had leaked onto the nightstand.. Thank goodness my phone was not there. In addition there was a light outside the door that kept blinking on and off and was very disturbing. At that point I asked for my room to be changed again and I was brought downstairs a very nice large room, which they called a suite, although it was really just one large room. That room was warmer and much more comfortable. I stayed there another two nights. Meals were taken outside with a plexiglass covering to shield against the rain. It was very cold outside and as mentioned before the weather was damp and rainy. The food was homemade which was nice, but it was the same menu every day. I specifically wanted to mention Erika. She was very sweet and did whatever she could to accommodate me, but the house is really in need of maintenance, and because of that I would not come here again unfortunately. It has great potential but the weather in Bogota is cold and damp and leaking roofs and drafty windows do not make for a comfortable stay.
GGuest UserLong established downtown hotel (not to be confused with its namesake the Tequendama hotel - one block away). The location is convenient for accessing public transport and the airport - although it can at first feel a little intimidating particularly at night when the area is much quieter and there are not so many options for eating. The hotel itself offers spacious suite style rooms which although a little dated are well maintained and kept very clean. I also was not aware of any noise from other guests. The WiFi was a bit patchy, and the hot water could take a while to work through (possibly because I was on a higher floor).
Breakfast was substantial with a number of local dishes, which for me were a little heavy - so perhaps more lighter options could be considered. I didn't use either the gym or spa so can't comment.
Finally, all of the staff I had contact with were very approachable and professional. I generally communicated in Spanish but I believe that the reception staff at least had English language skills. Overall, I consider that the hotel offered good value for money for the price I paid (c.£43 per night)
AAmybellOur experience was really disappointing, I paid in this platform the full price including taxes and the receptionist charged a double taxes saying was not hee Douro and hotel’s fault just law, here I’ll be adding the capture I took when I bought my service here and it said including taxes, she was so rude and also blaming me for don’t “understand”, read good , don’t understand I had to know they will be charging it , so unprofessional and gross with a client, I’ve been travelling for more than 10 years so try this platform and never had a bad experience till now, I recommend the hotel change their administrative staff they are not the people to treat with other humans. But I have to say the service staff I mean maids and the people in charge of breakfast were awesome, they would fix better in the reception they are so polite and clean, they k it how to respect other people. Gym is so basic but useful, breakfast so delicious, the fudge in the room was broken and no useful and nobody did nothing… last thing they referred my sisters iD, promised to deliver in the room and never did it so we had to go to claim it, this details from the receptionist, that rude woman and the unuseful manager too who said would be reviewing the reservation and who also said we have to claim to the website trip because was trip fault
